Yanceyville, NC: Today, Health and Human Services (HSS) Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell announced more than $87 million in funding for 1,310 health centers in every U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virginia Islands and the Pacific Basin. Caswell Family Medical Center (CFMC) was among them and will receive $45,789.00.
William Crumpton, the Chief Executive Officer of the Caswell Family Medical Center, says “We are looking forward to re-establishing ourselves in the community”. The medical center has been going through a lot of changes recently, and William is one of those changes. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Caswell Family Medical Center since this last May. “I’m relatively new to this position.” William explains that his previous work experience includes his fifteen years at Piedmont Access To Health Services, which has “a similar vision as the Caswell Family Medical Center”, so William is ideally suited for this position.
Yanceyville, NC: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced grant awards this past week to 1,304 community health centers to build upon the health centers achievements in providing high quality comprehensive care. Caswell Family Medical Center is one of the centers awarded, and will receive $35,287.00 to expand current quality improvement systems and infrastructure to improve primary care service delivery in Caswell County.
